About me: The MUNICIPAL VETERINARY OFFICE of Tayabas started to perform their veterinary services and activities on September 16, 2003 when Dr. Isagani C. Requizo was apppointed as Municipal Veterinarian by then-Municipal Mayor Faustino A. Silang (He got elected again on May 14, 2007 and currently the city mayor of Tayabas City).
When the former Municipality of Tayabas was converted into a Component City in the province of Quezon known as CITY OF TAYABAS after a plebiscite that was held on July 14, 2007, we also changed the name of our office and we are now The OFFICE OF THE CITY VETERINARIAN.
Who I'd like to meet: Pet owners; animal lovers; veterinary colleagues; members of Provincial, City and Municipal Veterinarians League of the Philippines.

DOG WALK FOR A CAUSE, LUV KO C BANTAY”
A nationwide protest walk of dogs and their owners against indiscriminate killings, maltreatment and senseless cruelty to dogs in the Philippines. The Municipal Veterinary Office of Tayabas received a commendation from the Philippine Canine Club Inc. (PCCI), the main organizer of this event, for the reason that we’re the only municipality in our country who rallied and organized our own municipal version of Dog Walk For a Cause.
