О группе Taylor Briggs

I am a composer of jazz and chamber music that explores the collision of compositional structure and improvisational freedom. The notion of composition as an unrevised, unrestricted freedom has become increasingly important, and yet problematic, in recent years.

In addition to composition, I am also a guitarist and bassist. I currently play bass in Sissy Mena (myspace.com/sissymena). If you live in Chicago and would be interested in playing or collaborating in some way, send me a message!
