I was born in Redlands, California . When I was six I
moved to Kentwood Louisiana. It was there that my Aunt Summer
gave me her Karaoke machine and the music began. I'd Love to sing all the
time and when we went visiting my cousins and friends, the Karaoke machine
came with us. Soon, on the weekend we'd go visit some of our friends at
church groups and assisted living homes and I'd sing there too. I'd learn and
practice their favorite songs and they all like it, at least that's what
they told me!LOL. Pretty soon, when I was 9, I was writing my own songs and
working with song writers including; Grammy award winner Don
Rollins, Danny Wells and Kathryn Kidd from Australia. I also studied
"Voice" with the legendary Bob Westbrook. I have also studied voice with, Judy Rodman. Sometimes the press compare me to Britney Spears because we're from the same small town and I appeared in her documentary & shared the same singing coach, but that's where our comparisons end.I admire her and the courage she has to get through all that she has been through , but I am building a career on my own steam and our musical identities are completely different.
Currently, I'm writing with highly regarded singer-songwriter/ producer , Tim Bennett, from the English Rock Band ' Civilized Tears ' and I have really learned so much from our collaborations together. I have just recorded some new songs which we wrote and you can hear them in the music player.
