Robert Harvey	Jul 21 2009 4:48 AM Thank you for your great comments & friendship! I’ve been offline due to a grueling, month-long process of moving into a new house here in Palm Springs. While still unpacking & settling in, we (my two friends/co-owners and I) now have a moment to breathe & reflect on our good fortune in finding this house. For over a year we searched for a fairly big house & one which embodied the midcentury modern look for which our small city is famous. Our agent found this 3700-square-foot house the first day on the market & we snapped it up. Built in 1956 for a retired Radio City Music Hall Rockette, the house features several mirrored walls and – my personal favorite – a mirrored wet bar in the family room. We’re also fortunate that it’s located in one of Palm Springs’ older neighborhoods, called Deepwell. Some of the celebrities who have lived here are Loretta Young, William Holden, Tippi Hedren, Liberace, Carmen Miranda, Julie London, Jack Webb, Eva Gabor, Jerry Lewis & Marjorie Main. It also has the distinction of being the neighborhood with the lowest elevation, which means it’s usually a bit warmer here than other parts of town—not such a great distinction in the middle of summer! Anyway, I thought I’d share some photos, hence this slideshow. Most photos were taken before we moved in – some copied from the real estate listing (the blurrier ones), others I took on inspection day. While hardly a fixer, the house needs some work, including an outside paint job, noticeable in several photos. xoxoxo Robert

Disabled Civil Rights	Jul 8 2009 8:33 PM I have Backers muscular dystrophy do not know how long I have to live I'm trying to get million friends for Disabled Civil Rights cause goal and short video Added me to your top friends please. Goal to have the Supreme Court Olmstead decision 6 to 3 Law enforced and have community-based programs for all who qualify for med waiver and consumer directed care which will save the taxpayers approximately 50% and provide opportunities for jobs instead of having disabled institutionalized or a nursing home. Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!
