I've not long moved to Manchester, I'm still settling in, I know no-one and have no idea where most things bar the Arndale and Primark are, so it'd be nice to meet some people to give me the heads up on where to go and what to do.

I'm a craft and film geek. I'm currently going through a detective gaming phase for my DS. I miss my Family and my Brum Friends as well as my mates who live all over. I'd like to be more outgoing and meet more people, but I'm a social whimp.

    Aw, I hope your mom is okay! Focus on her, rather than the boozefest. :-) I'm still waiting for packages to arrive in the mail from friends who said they were sent (oh well, guess it will happen this week) but I did receive the BEST care package from my oldest, best friend back home. She knows me so well. Made my day!! :-)

    Think I'll go out and shop or something as I wait for the boy to wake up.

    As for meeting this week, it's kinda packed, but maybe later on Friday night? Mike will be in Manchester with me, I believe, for some press event I have to go to.

    Freelancing kept me up till 230am, then I was on Skype with the Mr. in Taiwan. I'm only up early now as I think I have to meet up with his sister today and need to finish my work, gah!! Last night I found out my fave band may come to England in February, and I think they might go to Birmingham. If so, you're coming with me!!! xx

    The organic food shop thing sounds good, but I reckon you'd be dealing with some annoying snobby nosed customers from time to time! It's better money than you're on now, so why not go for it?! I can't find any jobs in Cheltenham. The situation is pretty dire. I'm stuck at Bannatynes :(
