   About TAZ Entertainment

TAZ Entertainment launched on 25 May 2007 after significant growth and development as TAZ Publicity & Promotions which started in Western Australia in January 2006. Initially, whilst still predominantly, promotes professional, amateur and community theatre & music events in WA in both regional and the metro area.
Now TAZ has grown significantly with several requests from the eastern states of Australia and overseas artists interested in our services.

Although myspace does not really cater for a business like TAZ Entertainment at this time, we thought we would create a band site, to assist in the promotion of those artists and shows who seek that extra professional touch in promotion.

TAZ Entertainment has a regular weekly service called MMOA (Mad Melz Out & About) that is sent out freely to theatre and music lovers in WA who subscribe (yes it's free). You can also list your WA theatre and music events for free if your production is showing that week. If you would like pre-show or extra event publicity then get in touch with our team.

www.tazentertainment.com.au - website is going through a major upgrade at the moment and we look forward to announcing its launch very soon along with our new Playwright Service, Booking Agent and Box Office services.

Director, Melanie DeCull has been involved in theatre and music for over 25 years initially as a performer in theatre, voice and dance and then onto director, choreographer, publicist, musician, and occasional writer.

In her teens she was in the State Youth Theatre Company at the Hole In The Wall Theatre, State Youth Theatre Dance Co., attended the WA Academy of Performing Arts in various workshops, studied Cert III in Music Industry at Curtin Uni in Kalgoorlie, worked at 96FM and Channel 9 Perth, performed in countless community theatre productions and has been in several professional productions, adverts, voice overs and training videos.

Other credits include: She co-founded and was the original publicist for the Kalgoorlie Blues Club, a committee member and publicist for the Unreel Film Club, Goldfields Repertory Club, Garrick Theatre Club, Independent Theatre Association, and more...

TAZ Entertainment continues to expand with the TAZ Team.

TAZ Entertainment sponsors kompany M - Midland and the Swan Valley's first professional theatre company in the Swan Valley (Western Australia), telling great Australian Stories and also sponsors The South West Blues Club in Bunbury (WA)www.southwestbluesclub.org

Finally, TAZ Entertainment has a strong working affiliation with WowKal www.wowkal.com events in Kalgoorlie (WA), the gold capital of the world.

Rootsy Adelaide Trio Alias & The Jams are kickin’ off the Winter WA Tour with the release of their self titled Debut EP from the 7th - 28th June.


Jam’in out tunes over the West Coast, to increase awareness about Carbon Neutral and raise money for Trees For Life.
