About me:
Wow what a beautiful girl right? Young just 18 years old just graduated High School. Now the fun begins good times with friends the world out there with no limits right?? Not for Leighana. She can't do or think about any of those things until she has secured a kidney transplant and regains her health. You can help donate ANYTHING even $1.00 helps. Doing nothing that is nothing. She is scheduled for her transplant in October let's help make sure that dream comes true for her and her family.

Some people change your life forever! Let me tell you about a girl who did that for me. Four years ago I met Leighana. Diagnosed at just 14 years old with a rare form of Kidney disease called FSGS, to which there is no cure but a kidney transplant. Think back to what you were doing at age 14 and what this special girl had to deal with at such a young age.
For the past four years I have watched her battle against this disease on a daily basis, almost having both her kidneys removed, and most recently being put on dialysis. I was with her in the hospital the day she had her dialysis tubes put in, and I promised her I would always be with her. She is like a sister to me. Finding a match for a kidney transplant is a long and tedious process.
Her mother and my best friend struggle on a daily basis with the reality of paying exuberant amounts in medical bills and it never seems like there is enough money to cover the costs no matter how many hours they work.
My promise to be there for her is as strong as ever and I am turning to the people I love to help me take care of her.
Please family and friends donate ANYTHING!! One dollar does make a difference if everyone donates just $1.00!! Tell your friends! Collect it in person from your friends and donate it all together.
Our health IS the greatest and most precious gift we have so in honor of Leighana donate something please!
I personally have set up a bank account for her medical fund and every dollar will go to just that!

Thirsty and in search of water, the camels converged on the community of Docker River. Instead of assisting the community by building barriers to keep the camels out of the township and investing in long term solutions such as research into birth control or the construction of a manmade waterhole for the camels to drink from, the government are planning to herd the animals away from the town, shoot them and leave their bodies to rot.
Despite the outrage of thousands of concerned people from around the world, the Northern Territory government has given the green light for the cull to go ahead and thousands of scared camels are now being annihilated by marksmen from helicopters.
