Bassplayer and producer from Middletown, OH. Musical interests span from funk to bluegrass, hip hop to jazz, and everything in between. Founder of Colemine Records and currently the bassplayer of The Jive Turkeys and hip hop band Soundscape of Oxford, OH. Terry has worked with artists such as Rideout, Ill Poetic, Bryan Ray, and Tough Junkie. And has opened for artists such as Three Six Mafia and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

RIDEOUT & TERRY COLE - THE CITY
The debut album from Rideout & Terry Cole, an emcee from Ohio by way of Detroit, and a Middletown, Ohio-based producer/musician respectively features beats that are a mix of funk, soul, jazz, and hip-hop. Couple that with the dope rhymes from Rideout and you've got a product that Dusty Groove America describes as "One of the best live band hip hop soul projects we've heard in a long time!" The City marked the first release from Middletown, OH-based indie label Colemine Records. And the album has also spawned a licensing deal with P-Vine Records out of Tokyo as well. This funk quartet is set to release their first full-length album in late 2008. With stripped down instrumentation using organ, guitar, bass, and drums, this group is a nod to late 60's soulful funk groups like The Meters and The J.B.'s. SoundScape was formed in 2005 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Combining elements of funk, soul, jazz, r&b, rock and anything else under the sun, SoundScape created a unique and energetic hip hop experience every time it took the stage. Quickly gaining local attention in Oxford, SoundScape became one of the most popular live acts in the city due to its marathon, high energy performances. The song "The City" on this page is a studio SoundScape recording released on Rideout's Call Me Rideout: The Mixtape. SoundScape is Rideout (MC), Matt Amburgy (keys), Terry Cole (bass), Andrew DeRoberts (guitar), Rob Houk (drums) and Bryan Ray (saxophones).
