IF I HAVE REQUESTED YOU TO BE MY FRIEND AND YOU DON'T KNOW ME... PLEASE JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO READ MY BLOG... ;) THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHECK ME OUT... :)
Hi all! My name is Brandi and I am the mother of a 13 year old severely dyslexic daughter and a 8 year old moderately autistic son. They are my world and I count my blessings everyday... I live in a fairly small town in Washington state with very limited resources. So I am in hopes that myspace will help with that. I have lived on the internet for the last several years, researching autism and more recently dyslexia. I have found that autism awareness is more available than dyslexia... Hmmmm???? I wonder why? Anyway, I have been married almost 10 years to my high school love. We took a 4 year hiatus from each other, however, before we realized we HAD to be together. We both have myspace pages dedicated to the things we love... Please feel free to message me anytime... We all need to stick together to help raise awareness for autism and dyslexia!
....

April is Autism Awareness Month! It is also a chance to applaud and celebrate those we know and love on the spectrum for all that they are and all that they do to try and navigate through the world.
Lets not forget all of the parents, teachers, doctors, friends and adults on the spectrum who work so hard 24/7, 365 days a year to bring about better education, acceptance and understanding.
The journey may not be easy, but remember that you are not alone! Hugs and Blessings (in April and always), Tricia
