Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour & evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice & be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven those who do His Will. My soul pours out an abundant thought of thanksgivings And I'm thankful even when the sink is full of dirty dishes And I'm just a little overdue in cutting both the front and back yards
My spirit whispers a simple prayer of gratitude When the wall paint begins to peel just a little bit And the wood in the bathroom floor boards begin to dry rot a little bit
I try my level best to interweave a little bit of thanksgiving into my personality Even when I look around and it's seem that everything is ruined And tall waves roam across the face of the ocean and the sea and then a dead calm
I'm thankful at the prospect of a reversal of a impending disaster Because sometimes we all take one step forward and two step backward I have thanksgiving seared into the very fabric of my soul and spirit

The Lord spoke this to me one Thanksgiving a couple of yrs. ago. Happy Thanksgiving! As I was sitting here thinking of all the things I was thankful for, I believe the Lord spoke and said. Have you ever asked me what I'm thankful for? I believe he said, I am thankful for my servants, who, through adversity, still worship me. I know and understand the difficulties that happen, because, remember, I was also tempted, in all points, as you have been. I am thankful for my children who overcome. I am thankful for those who have died for my kingdom. I am thankful for those who don't look to the things of this world, but have given themselves to me. I am thankful for your heart and your life that you have given to me. I cherish it above all else, for those whose hearts have been given to me, I will surely use in my kingdom. Maybe you can't cook. Maybe your rolls flopped today, when you wanted to make them special for your family. Maybe your pumpkin pie burned. Maybe you can't be in two places at one time. But I see your heart child, and I want you to know, that I love you with a love that is so indescribable, that you can't even fathom it. Yes, child, I am thankful for you. I pray and intercede for you. Nothing can take you out of my hand, because I clench my hand tight when the enemy comes and tries to steal you away. Worship me today!!! I am with you as you fill your plate. I am with you when you eat your turkey, mash potatoes, giblet gravy, dressing, olives, and green bean casserole, and Wal-Mart store-bought rolls. I am with you when you start on the dessert table. Oh, the pumpkin pies, and the pecan pies. Everything I make is good, don't you think!? I am with you as you sit around the table with those you love. I am with you when your heart breaks because there are some missing at that table. So, remember, as you enjoy today, I am there at your Thanksgiving meal with you. Observing and sharing today right beside you.
A friend of mine told me about an ad that he saw in the Dallas Morning News "Make all Texans Rich Including the Poor!'. In the ad there was a book called Health, Wealth, Peace that you could order for only $29.95. As I was reading the ad there was something about it that really drew my attention, so I called and ordered the book for myself. The ad talked about a new political party that has a plan for everyone's success. I am just like many people out there, I have not been very impressed by the antics of the two parties we have in charge right now. But what choices have we had?! This is why I had to check this book out for myself!
I am really excited to start reading this book! As a single mom I know that there are times when money can be tight, yet the price of $29.95 is such a small investment when I think of the benefits my children and I can receive from reading this book.
