Welcome to The Black Parade Around The World.

This site is foremost for each and every MCR fan out there who wants to belong. To be able to reach out, and have someone there to catch them if they fall.

What does MCR mean to me? My Chemical Romance is so much more than five men in a popular band. They are five brave individuals leading an emotional revolution that stretches to all corners of the globe. Through this band, I have saved lives. Through this band, I myself have lived.

I first learned of the band back a few years with the release of "Helena" as the single for their sophomore album, "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge". I was instantly hooked on the band, just by hearing a few seconds of the song. It remains one of my favorite songs to this day.

I grow and change, but one thing remains the same: all those lessons they gave me will change the future for them selves, for us fans, and for the rest of the world. I fully believe one MCR fan will find the cure for Cancer. One will take a stand and help to end violence in the home and community. Another still will strive to teach children the same messages they taught us, setting the future to be the most impactful people this world has ever seen...all through the guidance of these five incredible men.

They are NOT gods. They are NOT heroes. They are NOT saviours. They ARE five different men with something damn important to say and teach us. They ARE the men to guide America into a shining future. They ARE five men that never gave up on us, and believed in us...even if they had trouble believing in themselves.

Many people owe MCR their lives. I know that one day, those people will repay every band member, in time. These kids will become doctors, lawyers, soldiers, mothers and fathers, teachers, lovers, angels. These kids will make the world a better place to be, all on the message they received from some "band" back in the "day", but they are more than that.

Some people don't understand the pull MCR has on us. They think they do it for the fame and attention, or for self-known reasons, but it's not true. While they have changed, they have never lost the grip on the one message they've always had, and always given us:

"Live your life, love your best, stand up tall, die with honour. Be good to your friends and family, and change the world with your power."

This band is made up of ordinary men who believe that they hold the key to the future of mankind, and aren't afraid to give us that key. They are five men that will be cherished for years to come, remembered decades from now, and will never die, even if their mortal bodies are no more.

This is what My Chemical Romance means to me and countless others. This is what My Chemical Romance really means.

Gerard Way:
Gerard Arthur Way-Lee was born in Summit, New Jersey on April 9th, 1977, and he is half-Scottish, half-Italian. He is the eldest band member, the frontman, and one of the original founders of the band My Chemical Romance. Along with his brother Mikey and former drummer Matt Pelisser, they formed MCR post-9/11. Gerard suffered from severe alcohol/drug problems throughout the promotion period of Bullets, taking his problems into the promotion period of their next album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge". He sobered up on August 11th, 2004. He is afraid of needles and the dark, loves western-style comic books, and had a stalker-esque crush on Christina Ricci in his youth, after finding out she lived nearby. Gerard is married to bassist Lyn-Z Ballato-Way of Mindless Self-Indulgence, and they share a home on the NY/NJ border. Gerard has a dog named Olivia.

Mikey Way:
Michael James Way-Lee was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 10th, 1980, he is the younger brother of frontman Gerard Way. Also Half-Scottish, half-Italian, Mikey is seen by all members of the band as the "little brother" type. He and his older brother went to separate middle schools in their youth. Mikey played bass for a few of Gerard's former band before MCR, including Raygun Jones, and plays bass for MCR now. During the making of their most recent album, Mikey went through many changes, including lasik eye surgery and suffering from panic attacks. Mikey is married to Alicia Simmons (Pain), and shares a home with her in NY. They have three pets: Pumpkin(cat), Bunny Marie(cat), and Piglet Tree(dog) Way.

Frank Iero:
Frank Anthony Thomas Iero-Pricolo was born in Belleville, New Jersey on October 31st, 1981, and is the youngest member of the band. Frank suffers from an illness called Epstein Barr Syndrome, which makes him ill frequently. He was not popular in his HS years. An outcast in his school, he would spend most of his time playing in different punk bands, most of his teenage and childhood years spend in a basement at band practice. He plays rythm guitar in the band, learning to play from imitating Billie-Joe Armstrong of Green Day. He has multiple tattoos on his body, and at one time had his nose and lip pierced. He is married to Jamia Nestor (2008), and they have a dog together, a black lab named Revenge. Their home place is unknown.

Ray Toro:
Raymond Manuel Toro-Ortiz was born in Kearny, New Jersey, on July 15th, 1977. Half-Puerto-Rican and half-Italian, He is the lead guitarist of the band. He names his main musical influences as band such as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Iron Maiden. He was also influenced by his older brother Louie, who plays bass in a band called the Dead Poets. Ray is the tallest member of the band and is the most work-driven, but let's his hair down from time to time. He is linked to a girl named Krista, who is also half-Puerto-Rican, half-Italian, but not much else is known about their situation.

Bob Bryar:
Robert Nathaniel-Cory Bryar was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 31st, 1979, and is the newest member of the band. He replaced former drummer Matt Pelisser when he departed from the band after the release of their sophomore album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge". He was originally the guy on the sound-board for the band The Used, but came to drum for MCR after they extended the offer. He likes cats, and has a tendency to be violent when cameras come in his direction. He currently has a girlfriend named Kaylinn, but other information about the couple is unknown.
