Michael
P has been producing and mixing his entire life. in 2005 he moved to
the United States, and is now based on the East Coast.
Within his production company TBRM, and without, he has 5 number one
Australian hits to his name, one number one album, and countless other
success stories. Michael is touring the country this year, talking
about thinking outside the box whilst mixing in the box, DJing and
doing keynote speeches, as well as helping students worldwide improve
how they mix and more importantly make sure that they are living their

want to have to work for a living. I guess you could say that spending
every day with music is working as some days are incredibly long, but
realistically, how many people get to wake up every single day, and

When first seeing him come on stage, one would think that he was a
mixture between a comedian, an actor, and an MC, as his ability to
excite a crowd is uncanny. Especially as one second before he was just
another face in the crowd. He didn't stick out, he didn't show any
signs or thinking that he was anything special. He just "was".
Michael Pearson-Adams, otherwise known to the Australian music and
production world as either Gomez, or Michael P, is one of the most
energy filled performers I'd seen in quite a while. Whether chopping up
a well known track and making us all feel that it was something new to
our ears, or creating stop breaks that send tingles down your spine, it
all reminded me of something he'd told me during an interview 12 months
ago. He said "its got to be the best edit you never heard" and now I
think I know what he meant by that. One minute you're in one song, then
next you're listening to something different and the more you go back
and try and think when was the change the less important it becomes.
Summary is that if you get the chance, see this guy. He is not your
average DJ. He's a performer.
