Though he was informed several times by his high school peers that he would become a famous rapper someday; T-Bro then known as Kool-T paid it no mind at all. After graduating High School sadly things did not work out as this talented rapper had planned. Finally T-Bro realized that he had hit rock bottom and it was time for a major change. On October 2, 2000 T-Bro enlisted in the United States Army.
For some odd reason after graduating high school, music did not seem to be too important to him anymore. After being selected as the leader of his platoon in basic training, he was reconnected with writing again by being asked by his Drill Sergant to write a new motto for his platoon. Though he played a large role in coming up with one of the livest platton mottos in Fort Knox history... this motivated soldier still did not seem to have a good reason to start back writing lyrics. Once T-Bro landed in Iraq, that all changed immediately. Not knowing whether or not he would make it home alive, T-Bro picked up his pen, and started writing lyrics like never before. That is where T-Bro's Debut album T-BroWisdom (Inner Truth) began. After returning from the war zone and returning to Europe, T-Bro connected with a talented producer (that happened to be in the same company as him) and started recording. A few months later T-Bro's album was complete.
After making a name for himself in Europe by performing in several shows in Germany (since he chose not to re-enlist in the service) it was time for T-Bro to fly back to his hometown Fayetteville North Carolina.
Wasting no time, once he landed back in America he immediately went to work to regain the respect he had just earned in Europe. Just returning to American soil, T-Bro has already won several music competitions. One by VH-1 where his single (GET DOWN!) is now nominated for "Song Of The Year". T-Bro has been on two college radio stations and has been in rotation on one of his local radio stations 104.5. He has also been played in H-Town Texas on the new artist segmant. He has already gave demos to Underground legends 8ball & MJG, Juvenile, Charlotte N.C. native Anthony Hamilton, E-40, Hip Hop Legends Big Daddy Kane and the Blast Master KRS-1, Flava Flav from P.E., Trilleville, (famous radio dj) Russ Parr and his funny co-host Marcel (who has spoken with T-Bro since then), 13 AND1 Ballers (including one that he is still in contact with), NBA Legend Magic Johnson, dozens of NFL stars, hundreds of Nba players and many many more! He has even received a friend request from a couple of famous rap artists and producers...
Though this versatile rap artist did not want to believe it before, it is very visible that he truly believes it now. He is now managing other artists and models and heavily invested in his local NBA arena in Charlotte NC. Be on the lookout for T-Bro in a town near you.
