About Kaneel's music:
I’ve Sketched It A While Ago is French musician Guillaume Richard’s first commercial release, and we’re proud at Apegenine to debute another great talent. It would be easy to dub this release ‘ IDM’, but just as Kaneel’s been showing in the netlabel scene for years now, his music is much more than drills and bass. Under the overlaying fuss of glitches and hectic beatwork, Kaneel’s subtle music sinks into nostalgia and tenderness with his explorations into pop melodies. ‘Naïve’ is a term often used to describe Guillaume’s tracks; unstable and ecclectic yet dreamy and welcoming, the result is a sometimes chaotic feud of cuteness and destruction and other times, anthems to blowing bubbles and inspecting clouds.
Always on the move, Guillaume has recently expanded his vision by seting up the petite&jolie netlabel alongside friend Maxime Lethelier, searching and releasing naive/cute music from all around the world.
zzzzra is the project of the french musician alexandre lehmann.
he produces electronic music since 1998. trying to describe his sound with only a few words : repetition, difference, echo, reverb, dust, static. as his main influence he named the sound of the dub area around Berlin and Detroit.
"I'm not into loud and banging music, I prefer the infinite deepness of a noise generator passed through a resonant filter."
"A netlabel, also called online label, web label or MP3 label, distributes its music in digital audio formats (mainly MP3 or Ogg) online. [...] The primary difference between netlabels and record labels is that netlabels emphasize free downloads, as opposed to physical publishing (CD, vinyl or DVD). Often, the music is released under licenses that encourage sharing, such as the Creative Commons Licenses." en.wikipedia.org
Netlabels'NET proposes to create a connection between all Netlabels, Netlabel Artists and Netlabel Lovers here at myspace.com so to facilitate enjoying free downloadable music and to give every Netlabel a good visibility in the 'myspace jungle'.
So...I'm waiting for your requests and suggestions! UNITE!
