I am a hardcore foodie and Chef at heart. I simply love to cook!!! I like to try any type of food at least once. I am probably one of the few people who keeps a can of scorpions handy for a quick snack,
or really large water beetles in my freezer to be cooked in a ginger sauce and eaten. As Robin Leach always said, "Life is filled with champagne wishes and caviar dreams". Well, I guess I like to live that life and I do. I keep my truffles near my butter, This is the world's most expensive white Alba truffle $112,000.

With my interest in food, libations in drink form interest me as well. I collect wine and stock my wine cellar. I also collect whisky,
tequila, vodka, cognac, brandy, Dom Perignon, and bottles of Absinthe. Of course I am so spoiled, I only collect THE BEST STUFF. Sometimes I will not rest until I find and acquire that very special bottle. Same goes for cigars as well.
I love to travel, and simply do not get to do it enough. I love to garden, you would tend to find me in the vegetable garden, herb garden, or among my grapevines. Along with all the best things in life to enjoy, the most precious of all is my wife and kids. I wouldn't trade either of them for the world. I love my wife dearly, and would never think of being apart from her, ever. We share a very strong bond, a bond that scares us sometimes. We finish each others thoughts, even think the same things even from distances apart. She is my whole world and so are my kids. My kids are wonderful. I have a son that is a teenager, and a seven year old daughter. I share every moment with them, and thank God every day for them.
I like everything and anything! Music defines our soul and shapes us into who we are!!

Food TV Network is practically all I watch in excess. I record nearly everything to my DVR so I am not tied down to my t.v. There is more to life than wasting it in front of the tube. Here are some of the programs I like that I record that I watch at my leisure: Iron Chef America, Bizarre Foods, No Reservations, Culinary competitions, Days of our Lives (how many guys would admit to this one!), Vegas, Medium, E.R., CSI NY/Vegas/Miami, HGTV, DIY Network, and the Discovery channel. As you can see, I watch a bit of everything from the practical, to the senselessly romantic soap operas, the entertaining prime time shows, comedy, cartoons, and finally educational shows.
Books
Anne Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and John Grisham for horror. I have an extensive cookbook and cooking magazine collection. I just purchased Kim Haasarud's Book entitled "101 Margaritas"! Great book! It is a must have for anyone who is a connoisseur!
Brian Haner is an accomplished singer, songwriter, comedian and guitarist. Currently he is touring with Jeff Dunham. He is also the father of Synyster Gates who is the lead guitarist for Avenged Sevenfold! Gotta give credit where credit is due, without our parent's love and support, we wouldn't be who we are today! Kudos to Brian Sr.!!
