Tim Cannon - Lead Guitar and Vocals: Founder and band leader, was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Dallas as a child. He was raised in and around Dallas and Houston. He received his first guitar when he was 11 and quickly took to playing. His first rock band was called Hooker when he was about 19. His first blues band was called The Informers when he was 24. They had the first blues style of dress before Dan Akroyd and John Belushi with the dark sunglasses and the hats. Next he formed TC and the Cannonballs which included drummer Uncle John Turner who played on Johnny Winter’s first album. Tim’s brother-in-law played with Jimmy and Stevie Ray in a band called Texas Storm. That was Doyle Bramhall Senior and he gave Tim his first Freddie King record. It would be Doyle who would help co-write most of Stevie Ray’s material. Tim would be uncle to his child Doyle Bramhall II. TC and the Cannonballs would open for many distinguished blues acts such as Stevie Ray Vaughan at his album release party for “Texas Flood”, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Albert King, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, The Texas Tornadoes, Los Lobos, Room Full of Blues, John Hammond, The Nighthawks, Delbert McClenton, Buddy Guy, Joey Long, and Tim has played with Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, I.P. Sweat and Billy Gibbons to name a few. The band has had several different line ups but the current roster has been together for several years.
