Influences
Actually, my life influences my music. If you are asking who did I grow up trying to emulate...now that is something different. I still would love to sing like Karen Carpenter or even Patsy Cline. The way that they could bring the audience in just by standing there and singing was incredible. I use some of what I have learned from watching them on old shows when I am on stage. I still work in my own twists as well. It is good to use the basics of old country and mix it into today's sound to create your own blend.

Hey everybody...thanks for visiting. I'll just take a minute or two and tell you a little bit about me. I have been singing since I was young, however I have only really been performing since I was about 18. I hit the road with a band when I was 24 and got the real bug to perform. With that I made many trips to Nashville from Central IL to set in with some bands on the weekends and back to work on Monday monrning at 7 AM!
After 6 months of that it was off to live in Nashville in 1996. I spent most of my time when I got here in the Karaoke scene since I could make a living running the shows. It took almost 9 years, but I now am proud to say that I do quite a bit of studio work and have two CD's to my name. My resume includes touring parts of Europe and throughout the US doing small shows and larger venues opening for small town stars to country music artists.
For the last 5 years I have focused on entertaining in the Trucking Industry doing shows and touring heavily in 2005 with Trucking Entertainer Joey Holiday. It is a part of my life that I will never forget and I do my best to keep the momentum going. Take a listen and let me know what you think!
