About me:
Tchai-Ovna House of Tea opened its first shop in the west end of Glasgow in May 2000. Although never formally a cooperative, we have always sought to offer an alternative to the corporate and clinical bars and cafés found throughout the city. As well as selling speciality teas and infusions from all round the world and an affordable range of vegetarian meals, the Tchai-Ovna also hosts music nights, societies and literary events. In 2004 we opened our second shop in Shawlands, on the south side of the city.
