About me:
From childhood, I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I began with simple painting, drawings, and clay. I loved the variety of media and the creativity it allowed. Early in high school I enrolled in a publications class, where I was able to use a digital camera. I instantly fell in love and from that moment on I knew that digital photography was my passion. With my little camera I could capture life, emotion, and the almighty beauty of all things. I began taking photos of everything! I experimented with the settings, the lighting, the effects; anything to bring my art to life exactly the way I envisioned it. Getting to know the camera and the different functions available took time and patience. It was interesting to look at simple subjects and see how differently they appeared by adjusting the exposure or the lighting. It amazes me how differently things not only look, but how they feel when using different effects and angles. With a little practice, patience, and wide eyes I have discovered the marvelous side to Mother Nature. Photography is a wonderful medium for me. It captures the moment, I feel the bliss, and I save it for posterity. Most of all, photography allows me to share these moments and the beauty with others.
