Tim Cronin entered the live music scene at the beginning of September 08 with the ambition of simply playing his music to people who enjoyed listening to it.
In a short space of time Tim Cronin became one of Andover Sound FM's featured unsigned artists and has been played on the radio on numerous occasions. He was also noticed by Spire FM and has been played and interviewed by DJ Dave Woolatt on his Sunday evening show. Tim has also seen success in the competition Live and Unsigned 2009, and is currently in preparation for the Area final which takes place on May 10th. Tim is also currently promoting a song he wrote for Jamie Gentleman, a young and happy 13 year old who tragically died unexpectedly; and who's death inspired Tim to write a song. The song, called Hope Inside, will soon be available on CD and to download, and all funds raised will be donated to the Jamie G memorial fund, so keep checking in for updates! (Full interview and the song itself can be found on www/andoversound.com).
Whilst Tim's personal musical preferences lie with soulful and reflective acoustic, Tim has collaborated with various different artists, ranging from punk rock to dance music, with an aim to always challenge himself musically. Tim likes to bare emphasis on the fact that any music or song should never be referred to as 'about' any one thing. Tim's view is that music is always inspired by something or someone, but can be about whatever the listener of that song feels it is about. Tim takes inspiration from experience and events in his own life, and hopes that people may in turn relate to the music he creates conjured by his own thoughts and feelings.
