    Hi there Twin Cities YNPNers...
    If you’re currently looking for a job, internship, volunteer opportunity, or fellowship in the nonprofit sector, please join us for the Minneapolis Idealist Nonprofit Career Fair on Monday, March 31st at the University of Minnesota’s Coffman Memorial Union (300 Washington Ave SE).

    This year, the Minneapolis Idealist. org Nonprofit Career Fair is joining with the Working for Change conference. This collaborative event will provide the opportunity to explore careers with a focus on social justice - with particular focus on jobs in the nonprofit sector. There will be speakers, workshops, and panels to attend throughout the day offering information about working for change.

    For information about logistics (including parking, workshop schedules, and recruiters) please visit the main fair page (http://www. idealist. org/if/idealist/en/CareerFair/Viewer/default?career-fair-id=173) and then click “schedule” and “directions” in the section at the bottom. You’ll also see a link to view the full list of recruiting organizations. (Please note: Not all panel/workshop info is posted yet. More details will be added next week.
    )

    This career fair will be open to the public and recruiters will have volunteer opportunities, paid staff positions, internships, and fellowships available for people of all ages and experience levels… ***Please spread the word to anyone who might be interested!***

    can you bring friends to the happy hour who are not working in nonprofit but are nonprofit minded??

    Judy Gloden, Mary Montoya, and Jimmy Roan have all heard the words, “you have breast cancer.” They all have family members, friends, and colleagues who care about them … just like the more than 178,000 people who will also receive that devastating news in 2007.

    But thanks to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and dedicated people like you, we’re making progress toward a future where no one will have to face breast cancer.

    We hope you will walk with us on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13th.
    There is no registration fee to participate, and no minimum amount to fundraise!

    VISIT US ONLINE AT www. cancer. org/stridesonline and click on the state of Minnesota.

    We can also be reached via email at mnstrides@cancer.org!
