About me:
Every great structure requires a solid foundation. The foundation of the United States of America is "We the People." In order for democracy to work it is of utmost importance for the People (this means you) to be involved. Membership in the Young Republicans is a fantastic way to participate in the political process.
The Tarrant County Young Republicans club is a local chapter of the Texas Young Republicans Federation. The purpose of the Club is to support the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, to work for the election of all duly nominated Republican candidates, and to promote the interests of young Republicans in Tarrant County. We engage in grassroot politics, meet candidates and office holders, and experience what it means to be a proactive citizen.
To that end, the Club facilitates a time and place in downtown Fort Worth for like-minded individuals to congregate. We have two regular events scheduled every month -- happy hour on the first Thursday @ 6:30 at the Flying Saucer, and a formal meeting on the fourth Wednesday @ 7:00pm in Pour House.
HOW TO JOIN:
Voters age 18 to 40 are eligible for full membership in the Club and everyone else is eligible for associate membership. If you'd like more information about the Tarrant County Young Republicans or are interested in joining, please check out our website: www.tcyr.org. Guests are encouraged to attend our meetings and events.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interested in getting involved!! Please come join us ~ our meetings are every 4th Wednesday at the Pour House (back room) ~ they start at 7 pm.

Alan Keyes is speaking tomorrow, February 29th, at Texas Wesleyan University at 12:30 p.m. He will be speaking in Martin Hall inside the Dan Waggnor Fine Arts Center. If you know of anyone that would like to attend would you please send this to them. We are trying to fill the place. I just found out about this today since I am a graduate of Texas Wesleyan. There will be a Q & A portion and a chance for photo ops with Mr. Keyes.
Greetings Tarrant County Young Republicans. I own/operate a Conservative website, www.XEKE.com, out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I invite you to visit our site. If you like Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, etc., then hopefully you will appreciate our honest, hard hitting, shoot from the hip political commentary and analysis. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to let me know.
Join TCYR at the Pour House Wednesday March, 22nd for the general meeting. The meeting starts at 7pm and there will be social time before (6:30pm) and after the meeting.
Former Fort Worth councilman, Clyde Picht, will be our guest speaker for the night. He will be sharing his views on the Trinity River Project and upcoming city council elections.
you know those billboards in dallas that say "don't trust the liberal media" ? anyone know the web address for the group that funded that? I need some hard facts to support the argument that liberals own the media.
