I play the 5 string bass, sing lead vocals and high harmony with the Band Rivers Edge. I'm also their sound engineer and technician.
I also sing a original song off our Memories CD , ( Meeting You ) song written by Rivers Edge Band lead vocalist Al Stream.

I'm Tony Dance.
Born April 27, 1960 in good old Upstate New York.
I still reside in New York with my wife Linda and son Tyler, Just one of our eight boys.
I came from a large family back ground of country music singers. Guess you might say, I was rasied with country music in my soul. I taught myself to play the guitar at the age of 13. And loved to sing.
As I became alittle older, people would tell me Tony, you have the George Jones sound.
And even till this day, when I sing his songs, people tell me I sound like the Possum. Which is truly a honor, as The Possum has been my mentor from the day I heard him sing. I remember like it was yesterday the day I heard him sing. A good year for the roses.
Although I can play other instruments, I have to say what I enjoy playing the most would be my 5 string bass.
I can also sing just about any style of music. But I'm a true country boy at heart.
I have been playing and singing country music for over 30 years. And have been fortunate enough to open for many of the great county music artist.
Travis Tritt, Jana J, along with Stephanie Bently.
have opened for Terri Clark, Willie Nelson, Ray Price and Meral Hagger at the Bethel Woods Center of The Arts, as many will remember as Wood Stock.
And have had the great honor of meeting my life long mentor, the country music legend George Jones AKA The Possum.
Back in 1990, I began playing with a local band The Country Kut Ups.
Then went on to our own band known as The Rivers Edge Band. And still playing 19 years later.
You can catch me on the air once in awhile mornings on Thunder 102 Radio, on the Sakell / Ciliberto Show.
Right now I am working on and pursuing a life long dream. My Music.
