Music
too many musical tastes to mention.. although I'm generally not a fan of country music or music recorded before 1991. As far as music stations, I usually listen to 92.3 Now FM, Z100, and Party 101.5/105.3...
Movies
not much of a moviegoer, although some of my favorite movies include Kung Fu Hustle, the Star Wars films, the original Charade, Spaceballs, the South Park movie, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Blazing Saddles.
Television
Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, The Simpsons, CSI, and a lot of news, usually on WCBS, WPIX, WNYW, Fox News, or CNN. I'm also fairly big on talk radio, although the only talk show hosts I've ever met in person are Rush Limbaugh and Terry Meiners.
Books
the one I've been working on for over 16 years now, "How To Lose Friends And Piss Off People". If anyone can give me any ideas on the next book I'm writing (and rewriting, hence the rough drafts being pulled off of MySpace), let me know.

About me: I am a foot messenger, a former warehouse worker, a writer, and a genealogist. I have lived in NYC for over 12 years (mainly in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island).
Some of my highlights (or lowlights) include my infamous columns at the Brooklyn College Excelsior newspaper in the late 1990s, my tenure as an usher at St. Pancras Catholic Church in Queens, my battles against NBC and Eliot Spitzer, and the cyberwars I was dragged into against such psychos as Mark Pena, Gerbil Jones, Tommy Davis, and Alyson "Danihottie" Walansky.
I am also an unofficial genealogist for the Clarke, Faith, Fogal, Mateer, Porter, Stokes, Devellin, and Van Wagoner/Van Wagenen families. I am a very distant cousin to former US President George W. Bush (we are direct descendants of Thomas Andrews and Hannah Kirby of 1600s Middletown, CT).
I don't mind new friends, but enough with the Chinese fembots!
Who I'd like to meet: Someone who can improve my generally pessimistic view on life and humanity. I'm also trying to find some relatives, former co-workers, and old friends here, whether from Louisville, Pennsylvania, Colorado Springs, Prodigy, CompuServe, or Ireland.
Also, my main website is at www.freewebs.com/nyer11385. For some reason (maybe lack of ads, lack of X-rated stuff, too offensive to NBC and liberal Democrats, or the pictures), MySpace disabled the link to it.

Issue 1 comes to life with Darby Larson's "Electroencephalography" where an experiment in robot-building goes terribly awry. And if you've ever woken up with an unexpected physical deformity—say, an arrow in your heart—you'll truly enjoy the next story. There's also a smattering of flash fiction and psychedelia; a straight-out story where things aren't what they seem, poetry that takes you from the perverse to the sublime, some magic realism, science fiction, and a few letters to another species thrown in for good measure. We haven't forgotten those of you with a literary bent. In addition, the artwork in this issue is particularly strong, with oil paintings, watercolors, photography, and photo illustrations complementing the words with which they are paired.
