This is a fan site.. created with a vision of getting the word out due to the fact that The Dismemberment Plan may or may not have an official myspace. The Dismemberment Plan may in fact be the greatest band never to be known of during their existence. Although they had a rich fan base, they never were accepted into the mainstream music scene due to their originality and experimentality. Let us pay tribute and keep The Dismemberment Plan alive through their music. If it were not for their departure in 2003 after a 10 year run, they might be known as one of the great bands of today. Their vision was truly before their time, as you can see as some of todays most popular groups share commonalities with TDP. It is time for their greatness to be known on a greater level. Spread the word. Respect is due. Who knows.. with enough support, The Dismemberment Plan might yet someday regroup for one last run.

for serious, ive never heard a band that sounds anything like the plan and there never will be another band anything like the plan. whoever played the drums on the first album is absolutely ridiculous. i will always love you

It seems sad the plan worked so well and they dismembered. I hope very much that the band gets back together and makes more beautiful music. They disbanded far too soon. They were before thier time. But as long as I can I will keep telling people about The Plan.

I miss your shows so much. You were so close to BIG. I've hoped that one day you guys would come back together, so that many more could enjoy what your music has done for mine and many people's lives. Don't taunt us with hopes of a reunion unless its true!
