DJ T-dUb’s music career started in the early 90’s with a microphone, a mixer, keyboards and a drum machine. After a few years of making hip hop and trip hop beats he began mixing vinyl, starting with happy hardcore and jungle and moving into drum & bass, house, and breaks.
His move from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe further evolved his musical style into something unique and ever changing. Over the past few years, T-dUb has played all over the west coast with both local and international DJ’s. He has collaborated with and been inspired by artists such as David Starfire, Ill Gates, and Micah J.
Wanting to utilize his knowledge of sound, lighting, and production, T-dUb created Tahoe Breakz in 2006. Tahoe Breakz events take the crowd on a musical journey complete with light, sound, and most recently – video. Be it House, Breaks, Dubstep, electro, sunrise or sunset, T-dUb knows how to keep the crowd moving and bring them back for more.
In 2007 T-dUb released his first album “Tell me bout it” with Micah J. In 2008 T-dUb moved San Francisco, to focus on REBELBASSCOLLECTIVE the new crew, making music and throwing events. He’s still using his old Korg Triton, but has added Abelton 7, a Roland 404 sampler, DVDJ’s, projectors, and video mixers. Using vinyl, cd’s, dvd’s or a sampler he creates his own ever changing sound and style. His newest breaks mix “Break This” was just released, and the next crazy mix is coming in 2010 with some Original tuns as well.

Venerdì 4 dicembre 2009 Subculture music è lieta di presentare per la prima volta a Roma nel suggestivo Init club Future Signal un trio Inglese che sta conquistando rapidamente le charts drum & bass mondiali. Per questa serata abbiamo deciso di non accontentarci di un solo special guest infatti il trio sarà affiancato da Dabs (direttamente dall'Australia) uno dei producers italiani più attivi nel panorama internazionale, nonchè dai djs resident della serata subculture ovvero Maztek, altro producer capitolino molto attivo nel panorama mondiale, Kalu un audio/video performer dalle note qualità e Mc Shot che ci stupirà come sempre con cariche di energia sullo stage. Questa ricca line up sarà condita da un allestimento che non sveliamo realizzato appositamente per questa data.
