Tea For The Voyage is an independent ska group from Canada.
The band’s debut self-titled album was independently released in June 2007 and has received positive acclaim in eastern Canada. While seeing extensive airplay on the country's college radio circuit, the album has been noted for combining reggae, rocksteady, ska, jazz, funk, punk, dixieland and classical music.
Along the way, Tea For The Voyage has toured across the province, received endorsement from international skateboard magazine Concrete Wave, and even played post-secondary Frosh Week events. The band has also shared the stage with the likes of The Planet Smashers, Chris Murray, GrimSkunk, Big D & The Kid's Table, The Ataris, The Flatliners and more.
"Compromised of all original music, [their first full length] is a roller-coaster of style and technique."
- The Kingston Whig Standard
"So, I am sitting listening to this band and realizing that I've discovered something remarkable. It brought me right back to when I worked in the music business."
