The Teak Show writers are Stephen Dinsdale, Jules Bower, Peter Vincent and Bill Gordon.
The Teak Show is a fast paced blend of sketch and character comedy with a little bit of magic and stand up thrown into the mix. Sketches range from frothy and saucy to dark and surreal. Deluded twins, stinking castaways and 18th football hooligans parade before your eyes with relentless energy, quirky twists and the occasional mention of the word “bum.”
We have performed in a range of comedy nights on the London Comedy Circuit including: 'Out of Vaudeville' (Sound Theatre, Leicester Sq.), The Volupte Lounge (Chancery Lane), 'The Fix' (Arts Theatre club, Soho), 'Mixt Nutz' (Comedy Pub, Soho), Madame JoJo's (Soho) and 'In Peril at Leather' (The Leather Exchange) We were also the only sketch act to feature as Hackney Empire New Act of the Year finalists in March 2007. We host monthly comedy nights as "The Teak Show and Friends" at the Boardwalk Soho, formerly the Establishment Club, London's first satirical nightclub, started by legendary Peter Cook in 1961.

Thought you'd like to know we've uploaded a couple of Sitcom Trials classics on YouTube. Firstly there's show 7 from our TV series, in which spin-doctor sitcom Perfect 10 takes on Football - who wins? You can find out. Plus, for the very first time, you can see the ending of both the winner and the runner up!
Then there's an unseen rarity from the vaults, Tony 'Baldrick' Robinson starring in Didn't You Used To Be..?, a radio sitcom which he performed for us in Bristol and London.
Click the links below to see part 1 of each sitcom, or go to sitcomtrials.co.uk to find all parts. Enjoy.
"The Teak Show and Friends Super Comedy Hour" sounds like fun, I'll definitely make an effort to pay a visit sometime. If you're ever around in Camden, I hope you'll swing by The After School Club!
