About me: About Heelys
Heelys are the shoes with a wheel in the heel. They allow you to walk, run and switch to a roll at any moment. They also help you do cool tricks in malls and parking lots – which drives some people nuts. Heelys aren’t just shoes. They’re not just skates. They’re a movement.
Heelys should be used with the appropraite gear. We encourage you to read and follow the instructions included in Heelys packaging and visit here for tips on safe use of Heelys.
OK a couple of things.... 1 - What is that guy talking about in regard to nationals? If it went down the way he said it did and he “destroyed” the competition he forgot an important part of the equation. I wasn’t there….. and that boys and girls is what we call a variable.
2 - I hope MaxTrax isn’t going to be included in any Heely meant to be used in a Vert setting. Adding additional grip on a pair of Heelys is something i would caution against, When Heeling a riders feet touching down at some point is pretty much inevitable and if you are on a steep gradient or have a lot of speed the sudden stops have the potential to have detrimental effects on the joints. I know from experience on this. MaxTrax technology is great and would be very useful in street skating scenarios but adds an unnecessary risk to vert Heeling.
hey, i was just wundering if i culd tryout for your team i recently went to nationals last year and i personaly demolished the competion but my team didnt do so well
Now I feel people are entitled to their opinion but the guy who wrote this article didnt even do his homework. And obviously didnt talk to anyone at Heelys, There are mentions of youtube videos but the writer chooses to ignore videos with skill only to go on to site videos that support his arugment. I encourage everyone of you to reply to the writer and tell him to do his homework before we all roll over his punk ass.
