About me: Elite Tactical Assault Company (E-TAC) formed in the winter of 2008 from stragglers of
the former team Black S.W.A.N. and a few crazy paintballers from Oshkosh Truck. This combo of guys is what makes E-TAC great; from the leadership of Jason (Sully) Sullivan, P.R. of J.D. (Charlie1) Landolt, to the skills of Brian (Biscut) Briskie, Jamie (Juke) O’brien, Jarred (Graves) Graves and Mike (Muck) Wiedenhaft.
E-TAC held their first practice in the snow and cold of March to get ready for the first year as a team. The first practices were tough, but a great learning experience for everyone. We continued our grueling practices until our first game at Jungle Cat on April 26th. All of our hard work paid off when we executed our missions precisely and won the Most Valuable Pimp Squad Award. Shortly after, we were honored by winning the Most Valuable Team Award at Splat Tag during the Hunt for the Cure on May 5th. Team games and practices are not the only thing that builds our team strong, but being great friends (an E-TAC family more or less) on and off the field is what builds team unity. E-TAC has several non-paintballing events during the year to build stronger friendships, trust, and moral. Being able to trust your teammates on and off the field is vital to a great paintballing team.
We are proud to be a paintball team that enjoys playing a great game while setting examples on and off the field. Fair play, appropriate conduct and good sportsmanship are all critical aspects of E-TAC’s core values. We understand that we are not just representing ourselves individually, but E-TAC as a team, our sponsors, and the reputation of paintballing itself.
E-TAC is a member of the greatest brigade ever, Badger Brigades. We follow the rules and guidelines of this wonderful organization and are excited to represent Wisconsin and its Badger pride. Whenever we are lucky enough to play with the Badger Brigades, we do not solely play as E-TAC, but as a team of Badgers.
