We formed in October 2002 and began to put together our very own recording studio, better known as "the base-ment".
Depps (Producer - Artist), Wire (Producer - Engineer), RK aka Dj Corby (Producer - Technical Support) form the core of TDP. In addition to the main members of the crew, we also acquired the skills of the superbly talented artists whom work with us on different tracks on a regular day-to-day basis. These gifted and talented-individuals include Depps / Illa Ceez / Lyrical agents / TANYA / T-Dizzy plus many others, but just to name a few.... Low-Key, Dirtz, Dogge, Menza (Yorkshire Terrierz) / L Gee / Babs n Weekes (Stay Focus) etc....
Over the last 2 years the TDP crew have created a sonic armoury of 'hard-hitting' street beats that are sure to cause.... Some hears to tune in and listen, in their direction! Using everything from FL Studio all-the-way thriugh to Cubase SX.... everyone in the camp has developed new skills and knowledge that has contributed to our unique sound which sure is.... 'Original!' Producing all of our own original Hip-Hop / RnB tracks and vocal session recordings, this has enabled us to complete many productions for our series of 'mixtape' albums.
Currently we are working on our 'new' mixtape project, which is the 'first' and long awaited TDP presents.... 'GHETTO CELEBS' - VOL 1, which ios due for official release (Oct 2004) and should be in all independant retail-outlets, record stores and anywhere else!! (Jan 2006). This features various artists like Jemboi n Mr slinks (Lyrical Agents) / TANYA / Illa Ceez / Dogge, Low-Key (Yorkshire Terrierz) / LP / Kockee K and many, many more from the streets of Chapeltown.... The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix.
