"Don't think there are no crocodiles because the water is calm" ..A spikey nu-indie band based in the leafy Shire of Oxford, Diatribe are a mashed-up cocktail of all their influences. With Cure like rhythms, Marr-esque guitar licks, and mid-90's Brit-pop swagger, Diatribe create shapes and patterns that can't quite be pin-pointed, yet some how sound oh-so-familiar. A heavier twist is also taken from time to time, with the 'wall of sound' treatment just too irrisistable. Along their musical travels, they have been compared to Pixies, TCTC, Blur and Dinosaur JR, and have played alongside other familiar indie acts, such as Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and Towers Of London. Expect to move your feet... .

i really like you guys..great songs/vibes..afraid we're not really in gig swap territory at the moment..just writing and a couple of gigs this month to try out the songs, we'll hopefully be at one of your gigs soon xx
Thanks for the add and the message, fellas! Funny story on how I found your page: I was actually looking for an indie rap group by the same name, but I saw you guys first. I knew the other band wasn't from Oxford, but I just decided to listen to some of what you had done already, and got hooked!
All 4 songs on your page are great, but Bad Blood and Hobo Rocksy stand out for me, personally. Either way, keep up the amazing work and I'm definitely getting CDs of you guys!
Excellent gig last night chaps. A good time had by all me thinks. Right I am off to bye the latest issue off "BOILERS AND SPOILERS" the UK biggest steam tuning and mod magazine.
