TEAM FRESH live on RATHLIN ISLAND 2007
“And so it all began. Since that auspicious inception TF have gone on to conquer Northern Ireland with their own ascerbic brand of punk-inspired funk, picking up rave reviews along the way. Jackie Hayden of Ireland's national music magazine HotPress thanked them for making "life worth living again" while local hang-out Kellys' of Portrush hired pirates and ninjas to track down these anarchic artists who rebelled against the Liggers' Ball with the Wiggers' Brawl...200 people chanting "fuck Kellys!" at 2am. That's rock, baby, Causeway Rock...” Last.FM

Review by Jackie Hayden
"Team Fresh are a striking new rap-rock act from (county) Antrim. On ’Rapper/Comedian’ they dish the dirt on somebody who is a comedian not a rocker over a sprighty backing track with a throbbing bass. ’Last Orders in Rovinj’ has a Beatlish feel to it under a literate and catchy rap. ’Attack on All Fronts’ has a nagging guitar riff and a solid beat, a stimulating mix of Dj Shadow, Public Enemy and hints of politico-punk. Front man Slaine shows that you can indeed rap without having to sound black, so if you’re tired of guitar bamds aping the Monkeys, Team Fresh might make life worth living again."
"PICK OF THE FORTNIGHT: TEAM FRESH”
A Saturday morning, June, 2002... Slaine was filming for a skateboarding video. He awoke, fresh and phoned his two friends, Chops and Friers, and arranged to meet up to film and skate for the day. Chops and Friers happened to be one street away in a friends house, so Slaine skated round the corner and rang the doorbell... no answer... he opened the letterbox and could see Chops and Friers, and a 24pack of Amsterdam Gold at their feet, plus a few empty bottles of Buckfast... Chops turned to Friers and said "Why the hell do we have to skate for this video anyway? It's not as if we're ever gonna be in a team..." bent forward and opened a fresh can of Amsterdam, offered one to Friers who accepted. Chops asked, "You fresh?", to which Friers answered "Aye! Team Fresh!"
***OFFICIAL VIBE PRESS RELEASE***
re. VIBE no longer at Milk
It appears that Milk are trying to hijack the VIBE brand by postering & flyering with a brand they are calling "live VIBEs" (the "live" & "s" are so small you can hardly see them on the posters!).
They have even tried to further reinforce that Carley & Tina are part of this promotion by putting "C&T promotions" on the flyer!
Milk are attempting to get party-goers into the club by deceiving and misleading them....please let everyone know that VIBE are nothing to do with Milk & this "new" Sunday promotion is a poor attempt to ride off someone else’s hard work. This promotion is motivated purely by jealousy and financial gain, unlike VIBE, which is always promoted from a burning desire to give people a great night out.
VIBE IS NO LONGER AT MILK & WILL HAVE NO ASSOCIATION WITH ANY ACTIVITIES AT THIS VENUE.
Future VIBE parties will be taking place at Club Mynt on Saturday nights; watch this space for some extra-special shenanigans!

Hello to you my friend! My comment is to bring,to debate, issues I feel are very important, concerning the lisbon treaty.Below are a three videos. The first is very short(3 min)and is of an MEP who sees the "Totalitarian nature of this treaty"
The second is a documentary called "The real face of the European Unio" which is very important as it outlines, once again by MEP's,"An unsettleing Agenda" from an EU that is "Rotten to the Core" .. The Third is from a group of Irishmen. "End of Nations". It is an excellent documentary and it outlines the Lisbon treaty in full.Once again interviews with MEP's. Just be prepared to be a little shocked.
.. I'd encourage you to repost this comment If you feel it is of value. I will be posting a bulletin with the details and code of this comment.Press reply to bulletin, copy and paste the message, then repost as a comment. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Baz.....
"Team Fresh were class. I really enjoyed their set. They reminded me of ADF at times and in a good way, but with a Belfast accent. They were clearly out to play the best gig they could and the effort they put in payed off, with the crowd responding really, really well. And Niall - I could have sworn I saw you smirking behind your hand whilst everyone else was applauding them, so I'm surpised to see you write anything positive about them on here at all."
