About me: Team Green is th outdoor adventure club in Middle Tennessee, owned and created by Lightning 100, Nashville’s Independent Radio Station. For over twelve years Team Green has engaged people of all ages and ability levels in the outdoors, fostering an appreciation and respect for our environment... our outdoor play ground. Team Green is supported by four fundamental pillars: Environmental Education, Outdoor Adventure, Physical Fitness, and Community Engagement. Each event aims to connect with one or all of these pillars, enhancing the overall experience of our members and participants. We are committed to uniting Lightning 100 listeners, the Nashville community and beyond with the outdoors by sponsoring and leading organized adventures, educational expeditions, and service to the environment.
Team Green provides outdoor activities, adventures and social events to members and participants in ways that will inspire, challenge and educate them like no other group can. Our assortment of excursions include an expansive cross-section of activities in which nearly everyone can participate in regardless of past experience, age, ability level, or income.
In addition to planning a variety of active treks, Team Green partners with community organizations to promote events focused on health, well-being, and the environment. By raising awareness of these issues and encouraging local participation, Team Green enhances the sense of community within the Middle Tennessee area. Team Green creates active journeys embracing the natural beauty of the Southeast, thereby encouraging exploration of our regional community. Yet Team Green doesn€™t limit its scope, planning adventures all over the hemisphere that reach beyond the boundaries of ordinary vacations.
Who I'd like to meet: Team Green would like to meet anyone with an adventurous spirit, love for the outdoors, and thirst for community engagement. Our membership is offered to anyone over the age of 18, while still offering activities throughout the year to families and non-members as well. Young, old, new to town, native to town, out of town, out of state, out of country, rich, poor... you're welcome and we want to meet you!

Hey gang! Just wanted to invite all of you out to our Sellars Farm Night Hike next Friday at 7:30. Most people still aren't familiar with Sellars Farm State Archaeological Site in Lebanon, but it's a beautiful place and this will be a unique opportunity to experience the mounds and all of the site's history at night. The Mixer tonight was awesome! Glad to see some of the other Volleyball members out there and see familiar faces the more I get involved with Team Green! This is a great group and I'm glad I'm getting involved!
