All of the musicians in THT draws from very deep musical influences. It's about the passion of the music...and that comes in many differant colors and shapes. Team Honky Tonk was formed by Front Man and Band Leader Henry Becker in 1994. After having a career as a drummer, Henry made the switch to guitar, and with the encouragement of his friends to "start your own band", Team Honky Tonk was born. "I have a very simple philosophy with THT, play good dance music that I like to sing".
This philosophy seems to have worked better than anybody thought!!! After just one year of performing in the L.A. Area, Henry won "Best New Male Vocalist" in 1995 from the California Country Music Association (C.C.M.A.). In 1996, Henry won "Entertainer of the Year" from the C.C.M.A., and has been doing 150 to 200 gigs a year ever since. "Thank you to all my friends fans."
Team Honky Tonk plays high energy country music with a very positive and entertaining style appealing to all ages. "We want everybody to have as much fun as we do at our shows, it’s just that simple !!!"

Welp, I don't have a fancy, schmancy picture to put along with my comment. (cuz' I have NO idea how to do that!) Just wanted to say thanks for 2 fun filled nights at Joe's! It is GREAT to have Lydia back in the saddle! Although, I still think it should be a full moon, things were wacky...but fun!!! Cheers!!!
Hey there Henry and Team Honky Tonk! Thanks for the wonderful show today at the 3rd annual BPEC Chili Cook Off!!!! Everyone LOVED your energy and PERSONALITY!!!!!!! We are looking forward to next year and many years to come!!!! BTW...Liberty and I did 3 Little Monkeys about 15 times once we got home....she is sacked out and needless to say...I am TOO! Thanks again!
