Team Nasty - What is this?
Team Nasty is a loose knit group of friends, family, and coworkers that enjoy getting together and having BBQ's, driving cars, and throwing back a couple of beers.
Team Nasty is for a select group of friends who acknowledge each others friendship as a common ground. At Team Nasty we live by a short list of common decencies that keep the group tight. These are NOT rules... The members live this way already and don't need rules to be good people.
1 - There are no internal struggles for power. Everyone is equal. Nobody will ever say " I started Team Nasty ". There would be no reason for that. There is no "King" or almighty and there is no one that wants that burden!
2 - Team Nasty doesn't include free loaders. We all carry our own weight, do our own things and come together to enjoy those things. We bring food to gatherings, we bring good beer and on average about 5 time more than we could ever drink ourselves. We don't want anyone who thinks that being broke, driving a POS car, or having no car at all, is the coolest thing to hit the Hudson Valley. If your main mode of transportation is your own two feet... Woodstock is calling you!! Not Team Nasty!
3 - No one is "IN" Team Nasty. They can choose to show up or they can choose to stay home. That will be the measure of their participation..... Stating you current status with Team Nasty is not accepted. Your participation will speak volumes.
4 - Team Nasty has nothing to do with anything accept good friends who enjoy each other's company.
5 - Team Nasty will never shun anyone who wants to hang out for the first time. If you don't fit in you will "kindly" be asked to leave. Team Nasty will never accept your friendship for " the mean time" and try to push you away at a later date.
6 - Team Nasty is comprised of some very young friends as well. Team Nasty has several friends with families and children. These little ones will learn how treat each other with respect for each other, their parents, and their elders.
7 - Team Nasty is excited to see other groups be organized and looks forwards to the coexistence of several different kinds of organized groups in the Kingston area. Team nasty will have GTG's or Cruises with any kinds of clubs etc. ( chess club, rotary club, Scion club, fireman's club, or that new club that meets out front of Barnes and Noble) We do not bolster our positions by throwing other Kingston area organizations "under the bus". That is just simply not our style and is unacceptable. Team nasty will be what it is by its own actions. It's image will not be created by negative comparisons to other organizations.
Team Nasty is an original unique group of people that will evolve into what ever the people involved end up making it. There will be no single person who takes the credit for doing anything. If there are any other suggestions from the group, it will be added upon submitting.
