As the title states,.............
I was 11 years old and one of my friends on my bus used to run his mouth about shooting people (in a nice way) with paintballs, and this sparked my attention. His dad owned a gun shop/firing range in Saco. He sold paintball equipment and hosted games at his house on Sundays. I began playing with a PGP. After hundreds of 12gram CO2 cartridges, I upgraded to a PMI 2 with constant air. At this point we had began playing in different spots in Saco, Semi Auto guns were coming out on the market, and I eventually went to Rogue Paintball. I played at his field in Standish behind Bodgers with hundreds of other people, many I considered comrads. Lots of friends were made at that field. Many a scenario games, many a bunkering moves, many laughs. Speedball came into play, followed by September Slams. Bookers Gully came to exist with a few friends playing ball in the backyard, then the backyard (five acres) turned into a woods/speedball course, and five friends turned to ten people to tirty people. It was around this time I met Daren. He brought a different twist to the games at my house. For those of you who know Daren..........well anyhow. With Daren, came this kid Jeff. Later on in Life I realize that Jeff was to be one of my best friends, nevermind one of my strongest players. Meanwhile, my field got soooooo big, with paint sales, CO2, air, maintenance, etc. My folks told me I couldn't do it the next season. We took our show on the road, to Bennett Allweather Paintball. Merrit,Pam and Fred welcomed us. Myself, along with many of my teammates throughout the years have helped run the paintball field. This has been "OUR FIELD" for years. They treat us well, and we have fun 99% of the time. This sport is basicly still broken down to the fun aspect, and this is important. I built team after team, Good Bad and the Ugly, Spontaneous Combustion, Tactix, Ransack. We played tournies in Maine (MRPL) and Mass. (PNL) We began to Refferee a New England League (NEPL)for Anthony Vitale, from Boston Paintball. Something was always missing. Then there was a day I had a "Revelation". I know my limitations, Its the players on the team that make a team, not so much its leader. I went through players like you go through underware. We traveled to South Carolina and Florida for National tournaments (www.pspevents.com) We went to Conn. ten times and played some local tournies. We also Reffed the Boston NPPL event. (nppl.tv) Just shy of twenty guys played under this team name this year. In the end, seven stood. In 2006, I can confidently say with the help of our sponsors, WE BUILT A TEAM THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!! Many opportunities were capitalized on, many contacts were established and next year will be even more exciting.......... I promise.

About me: Remember.............Paintballs not just a game, its a lifestyle....... Thanks for visiting the home of Team Revelation, a competition paintball team with its members out of Southern Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Were all your average everyday trade workers/students ages ranging from 14 to 52. We share one special thing in common. PAINTBALL! Each and every player on this team has devoted at least 1 FULL day if not more to this sport per week, EVERY WEEK. We are a brotherhood we play together, we live together, we lose together, we win together, we laugh together, and we cry together.
Paintball takes more than just running around pulling the trigger. It takes intuition, speed, agility, stamina -and most of all honor, not just to your sport, but to your team as well.
