About me:
Team Roc (Reality Of Combat)
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Tai, Sambo, and Boxing in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Team ROC Greensboro Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is owned and operated by LP Fitness, L.L.C. and is the Greensboro chapter for TEAM ROC. Team R.O.C. is the premier Jiu Jitsu and MMA organization in North Carolina. Team ROC fighters have appeared in some of the top shows in the world including: K1, IFL, King of the Cage, Bodog Fights, and HDNET Fights. Our organization has approximately 15 schools across the state with 4 black belts under Royce Gracie.
At Team ROC Greensboro we train several disciplines including Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Sambo, Muay Thai and Boxing. All these styles are incorporated in our training system in the effort to help students become well rounded fighters. The techniques learned in classes can also help individuals become more fit. At Team ROC Greensboro we strive to uphold the highest standards of any mixed martial arts school in NC.
Students can train for fitness, self defense, wrestling and jiu-jitsu tournaments, MMA fights and more. Our facility is a relaxed (no egos allowed) training environment. We offer one free week to anyone interested in training at our training facility and accept students of all levels. Once you join one Team ROC family, you can train at any of our other locations for free.
Classes are taught by multiple instructors within the organization who are experienced in different diciplines. Most classes will be taught by Laban Propst,a former collegiate wrestler and four stripe blue belt under Royce Gracie and Greg Thompson. Laban also holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and has trained many athletes during his career. Being an exercise physiologist, Laban can work with individuals from almost any population and help Team ROC Greensboro members develop high levels of fitness.
