The SOLO sole plate is simple in design yet high in performance. Two plates bolt to both the inside and outside edge of the boot. We have simplified the sole plate system to create a light weight and fast sliding plate. The groove is wide and shallow, which makes royal and torque based grinds easier. Grooves that are too deep make switch up tricks harder. The Solo sole plate shape is squared off so that ruff-style grinds can be locked onto with control. The new sole plate is flat, making sole based tricks perfect on ledges or rails. The inside sole plate hits perfectly when you are doing front-side and other low stance style grinds. The width of the inside sole plate is unique and allows a second point of contact when grinding. Negative grinds and sess-slides are easier than ever with the SOLO sole plate. The plastic materials on the SOLO series skates are very slick and durable.

This years event was the largest in the 9 year history. 160 competitors and well over 1,000 spectators during the Finals on Saturday. The level of skating was as hot as the 95 degree heat inside The Factory Skatepark. The Team Rollerblade riders rocked the Superhick, with David Sizemore finishing 3rd in Pro and Tom Hyser 2nd in Masters. Congrats to Guerrero, Bah, Dalnas, and Guerrero for making it all the way to the Semi finals in the Pro division.

I have a pair of the 2nd rollerblades from the Olsen Brothers. They have the metel frame and the skates are in mint condition.
