Peter Tilden was born on the East Coast and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Temple University.
He started his legendary radio career at WYSP in Philadelphia. His first show was a one-hour weekend show which was only the beginning of a long and successful career in radio today.
Then in 1990 Peter Tilden made the move to the West Coast hosting the KLSX Morning Show. Then in 1991 he joined KABC on-air staff, staying there over 8 years hosting both Morning and Afternoon Drive shows. His career includes being the host of the Morning Show drive at KZLA and hosting a late night show on KABC radio.
And if that was a busy enough schedule he aslo squeezed in doing a Morning show for their sister station KMPC. During that time he also wrote and produced pilots for CBS, Nickelodeon and HBO. Peter was recently a writer and Executive Producer for the sit-com "Bob Patterson."
In addition to his radio career Peter has also spent some time in front of the camera, hosting NBC's "Later," ABC's "The Midnight Hour" and "PM Magazine" in Philadelphia. Plus, Peter has writing and producer credits for pilots for CBS, Nickelodeon and HBO. Peter was recently a writer and Executive Producer for the sit-com "Bob Patterson," and still is currently writing.
Never sitting still, Peter Tilden has also won numerous Country Music Video of the Year awards as Director. Most recent award was the ACM 2009 Music Video of the Year Award for "Waiting on A Women," Starring Brad Paisley and Andy Griffith. He has been nominated for even more.
