Electronica in rock coat ? Alternative rock pierced by electro samples ? Exploring of the sources like EBM or futurepop ? Yes, that’s all synergically joined in the creation and its presentation by the band TEAR originated in Prague.
It was founded by Zdenek Vovesny in 2003 with a clear vision to present genre varied composition, based on modern electronic sound. And, together with many live acoustic instruments, to offer unique musical experience.
He rounded up skilled musicians, who are expanding romantic, musically sophisticated arranges, with electric bass parts played by Adam Valtr, acoustic drums by Aleksandar Dragovic and honey sound of electronic violin by Anezka Jiricna, consolidating the band‘s sound to exclusivity. They are all together joining informal world of living with structurally refined world of digital processors.
The coverage of the band is very broad – from danceable and optimistic songs, through melancholic symphonies to hard, pulsating rhytmes – always combined with melodic vocal line. Everyone finds his cup of tea. Lyrics are touching all the creeks of human existence, they’re oscillating between the reality and the fiction.
Succesfull activities on the national and the international scene (WGT Leipzig 2008, Castleparty 2007..) were crowned by the release of the first official cdExtra release titled „Clear Message“, released on „Men On The Edge“ label in July 2007.
Videoclips of the songs „Rush“, „Bitter Feeling“, „Electronic Age“ and „Like A Pig“ have been already produced.
Today, the band is completely focused on the creation of a new material, the visitors of the actual performances can already hear the major part of it.
