Trey Earnhardt is a singer/songwriter/performer based out of Lexington, Kentucky. He's a son, a husband, and a father of two. He's currently competing in the EVENTFUL.COM/LITTLEBIGTOWN contest - so go there and demand that Trey opens up a show for them! Trey has new material ready to be recorded and looks to have a new project out by spring 2009. It will be his 3rd studio project since 2003 and will have a more rock edge. "I want this new CD to be as rock and roll as possible, but still be considered country," says Trey, "Some of the new songs will have that egde the songs from These Tears and Redneck Romeo lacked."
What Makes A Man, the first single off his last CD, was been sent to various FM radio stations throughout West Virginia, Ohio and Wisconsin via www.aaradiopromo.com. Charlie Hall, host of 100.7 FM's "Open Mic Show" -which features the best local artists throughout Kentucky - plays Trey's songs regularly - and it's not uncommon to hear Trey howling like a coyote as one of Charlie's Saturday morning, in-studio guests. SO TUNE IN and call Charlie and request one of Trey's songs!!!!
Trey loves working with other songwriters and is ALWAYS writing songs. "As a songwriter, it's not like your job or what you do, it's WHAT & WHO YOU ARE as an individual. I'm a firm believer that not all great songs come out of Nashville. Hell, I wrote some of my best songs in my garage here in Lexington!"
Trey has been playing the Central Kentucky bar scene for about 10 years - performing in bars such as Shamrocks, The Sterling Saloon, Regatta (Captain Jack's Pier), Nashville Station and Campus Pub.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, raised in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, and a Beta Theta Pi alumnus - a lot of Trey's songs reflect life around the Central/Eastern Kentucky region. From Cruisin' town to partying at the lake, his songs reach the local audience, national audience, and anyone else who grew up in a small town. Songs about love going good and love going bad also make their way onto Trey's new CD. Buy it at iTunes or CDBaby today! You won't be sorry.
Trey enjoys going to the lake, snow skiing, playing golf (Pebble Beach Celebrity Pro-Am, Trey's available!) betting on the ponies at Keeneland, watching REDSKINS football & UK basketball, fishing, spending time with family and friends, playing paintball and brewing the occasional batch of home brew.

Hey Happy Birthday Bro!!!! Don't get down on yourself. You and I both know it's a long hard road for aspiring writers. Hang in there man and don't lose sight of your goals. Be cool man.
Hey Bro, don't get down on yourself. Nashville sucks anyway, they are all about themselves. Keep playing and hang in there. Music is a privilege that not all are blessed with, so share it well.
Trey I don't care what anyone say's, I love listening to your music. I think you have exactly what Nasville needs. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get there than you would like, but I believe with all my heart you will get there. Take care!!
Me and my band will be back at Players Club, in Richmond, next Friday and Saturday night, November 14 and 15.... Show time is 9pm both nights... I hope you will come!!!
