I love most kinds of music. You will never catch me listening to today's hip hop/rap. Come on, I don't need to know about you getting head from some random bitch, how much money you have unless you're giving me some, or how much weed you smoke. Besides, it's bad for your health. Stop.
Other than that, it all depends on the day and my mood. I'm very fond of smooth jazz. Yes, I admit it. But I also listen to some rock, techno, pop...anything that isn't today's rap. 80's rap was so much better. Well, now that I think about it, a lot of stuff back in the 80's were better.

I don't watch a lot of movies. Seriously.
I haven't found one that kept my interest for more than 10 minutes.

On a regular basis, I watch House, Pushing Daisies, WWE wrestling, and The Weather Channel.

As sad as this is going to sound, books have a tendency to keep my attention for 10 minutes at most. After 10 minutes, I have to put it down, even if I'm enjoying it, because if I don't, then chances are, I won't enjoy it anymore. Same thing with things that I write. I write for a little bit, then I have to stray away for a bit and then come back. I have a very short attention span and I bore easily. Fun stuff.

Definitely my mom. She's a fighter. She can go through shit like dirt, but she keeps on going. I don't know what I'd do without her. She keeps me going and whenever I feel like saying "fuck it all", I think of her.

Before I go on to the real stuff, I should tell you the reasoning behind the name.
Nyree Kage (pronounced NYE-ree KAH-gey; "kage" means "shadow" in Japanese) would be the name that I'd use if I became a performer. Why such a strange name? Well, I'm a strange person. Seriously. I grew up being called a lot of names, but there was only one that I really identified with--"weird". Yes, I consider myself weird. So there's the reasoning, now go ahead and tell your friends.

I answer to Nat, Peach, Peachy, Shadow, and "Hey Bitch!", although the latter might get you bitch slapped. I was born, bred and beaten in Queens, NY just a little over 23 years ago. Ugh, that makes me sound old as dust! Anyway, sarcasm is my shield, the pen is my sword, and my twisted humor is my no-fail killer poison if all else fails.
I have big dreams. So big that it can't fit on Earth. Yes, it's that serious. I want to sing on Broadway. I told you, tall glass to drink. You can't drink all that without having to take a piss afterwards. But I've pretty much settled for at least being in the Theatre District doing a job. Sadly, nothing's come up yet.
I am a writer, an actress, a singer, and a decent web designer. I'm usually spent singing while working on my site or on my new message board until something comes up on the job end. I'd kill to go back to college though. It's the matter of funds.
My addictions? Crack? Nah, I'm messing. Iced coffee, crushing on a few video/cartoon characters (Hint: a certain swordsman in green?), chocolate. Chocolate. CHOCOLATE!! I also have a fondness for romance. Yes, I am probably the most bitter bitch you'll ever see, but I do have a soft spot for certain people. Certain people who don't piss me off. How do you piss me off? Wake me up by calling me and asking me stupid ass questions, or wake me up by calling me at an ungodly hour, and expect me to have a sense of humor.
What is the reason behind the "dreaming drunk" thing? I don't know where it came from, but as strange as it sounds, it almost makes sense. You know, big dreams that can't be true unless you're drunk? Yeah.
