RADIOINDY REVIEW OF "Method to the Madness" CD -
"Method to the Madness" by Téa is an outstanding worldly pop fusion EP featuring Téa's strong voice and refreshing sound. Téa has a definite presence in her voice and her personality shines through it. The arrangements are a creative fusion of jazz and pop. The songs are well layered, have nice changes and are well produced. The quality of the recordings are excellent and the mix really jumps out of the speakers. Above all, the album has a really great energy. Highlight include "7 Ways," on which Téa's voice sounds great, and the song itself is very catchy. "The Lesson" is a powerful song with a gutsy vocal performance. The title track "Method to the Madness" has a nice hook and an airy mysterious quality to it, while maintaining a poppy listenability. If you enjoy Macy Gray and Amy Winehouse, you'll love this excellent CD.
