View Tech Tonic’s EPK
Tech Tonic is a band that defies genres. Comprised of founding members Andrew Lubner (drums, samplers) and Jordan Holt (keys, loops, and samplers) and recent addition Josh Coffman (saxaphone), Tech Tonic seamlessly fuses synthetic sounds with organic instrumentation. The result is a brand of “livetronica” uniquely their own. The amalgamation of programmed blips and beats, meshed with an organic ensemble, create a distinctive sonic palate that will leave you salivating for more. Stylistically, Tech Tonic’s live performances can shift from jacking house into smooth down-tempo grooves without ever missing a beat. Tech Tonic’s sound has been compared to such influential bands as, STS9, the New Deal, and Lotus. Like it’s contemporaries, Tech Tonic is in a state of constant evolution and each show is a unique experience rooted in improvisation and driven to keep the crowd moving.
Simply put, Tech Tonic is a fresh face on the Tulsa music scene. Although just recently formed in May of 2007, Tech Tonic is already making waves. February 2008, saw Tech Tonic winning the Waka Winter classic and securing a coveted spot at the Wakarusa Music & Camping Festival in Lawrence, KS. Tech Tonic will share the stage with such revered artists as the Flaming Lips, STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), Galactic, Cake, and many others. As proof of their recent momentum, Tech Tonic was recently featured in FN Magazine and their tracks have been in rotation on Z-104.5’s the Edge Essential Mix. Tech Tonic’s original sound fills a musical void in Tulsa and beyond. Do your self a favor and go experience Tech Tonic live...just bring your dancing shoes!

Hi everyone, check out my friends movement classes:
This is a call to all of those who have the courage to LET GO, (and are ready to have fun!)
Move the body, quiet the mind, and free the Spirit....An ecstatic movement experience..
This simple movement class combines Gabrielle Roth's "Sweat your Prayers", Qi Gong, guided meditation, and deep relaxation as a way back to your center; your moving center and the inspiration of the heart.
It is movement as medicine. Rooted in the innate wisdom of the body, natural flow of the breath, and pulsing rhythm inherent in all life.
It's an opportunity to let go of the mind and allow the body to be moved by rhythm, to disappear into the wave of sound, to offer your bones back to the dance, to offer your sweat as a prayer, and to gather in community to celebrate.
To dance this JOY of existence.
