TED BROWN, BIOGRAPHY
Over the past two years, while based in Los Angeles, singer songwriter Ted Brown has been working on his debut album ‘Shaky’s Blessing’, ten beautiful new songs available on Flaming Pearl Records.
Produced by California-based Brit, Sid Jordan (Pete Yorn Band and Minibar)the album is a collection of emotive, country-tinged pop songs, reminiscent of Seventies Americana, reflecting Ted's experience in the United States and his own personal odyssey.
Showcasing his heartfelt songs and beautiful voice, Shaky's Blessing confirms Ted as one of New Zealand's musical treasures.
Sharing his time between the U.S and N.Z. Ted is the full time guitarist (and parttime collaborator) in the Greg Johnson Band and has co-written on Greg's last two studio albums.
Currently working on his next album and gigging in the United States both solo and as a member of 'The Britsih Empire Tour', Ted returns to N.Z. frequently for both GJ committments and solo shows.
After his stunningly beautiful work on the clip for 'I Bet Myself', Matt Palmer is scheduled to shoot the follow up video for 'Moments More Precious' in July
