I'm at Emo's on Red River Thursday with a couple of cool bands...No Mas Bodas, and Archibald Adams...Gonna be a really unique chance to see some different kinds of music if you're into it!
And Friday I've got a show with DJ Chicken Kiev (of Gadjo Disko) at Buzio's which is upstairs from the Copa (217 Congress)...It's Booty Beats from Around the World! We're gonna throw it all at ya and see what sticks! I'm doing mostly Bounce because I love it, but I can tell you that you won't go to a single show that makes you rock this hard all year! And you're gonna hear stuff you never heard before that you won't be able to get outta your headz after!
I will be performing at The Moose Lodge, (2103 E.M Franklin Ave. - Austin, TX), this Sunday, Dec. 21st. This is going to be a very fun night of music and food... and it's FREE!
The doors open at 5:00pm. There is going to be a potluck, so bring a hot or cold dish to share if you wish. Also, there is going to be a cardigan competition, so wear your favorite/ugliest cardigan and you might win a fabulous prize!
ALSO, some very excellent bands are playing, including Attic Ted, (who I personally feel is one of the baddest-ass bands in Texas), The Pillow Queens, and Jacob Goldberg.
The Bassturd opens the show at 7:00 pm sharp. I will be joined by Hermes, Imy DJ friend). We have a great set planned, complete with some brand-new material.
