Teddy-P was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. Growing up Teddy-P says he only had two influences, The Late Rapper Tupac Shakur and C-Murder of No Limit records now on TRU Records. In 1996 after hearing Tupac's All Eyes on Me album, Teddy-p says his eyes was then opened to rap because he had finally heard someone who felt and was going through similar things in his life. When asked how he came about the name Teddy-P, he simply said "I got it from the old heads after longs nights of free styling on the block when I was younger". Soon after he hooked up wit a friend who was already into making music by the name of lil C's, but the group didn't get off to a good start because of money situations and dead in jobs. so Teddy-P after giving up his Rap ambitions decided to join the United States Army. In 2003 he picked up his pen and pad again and soon after came across A soldier with the same thing in mind making good music. This soldier is now known as Bank-roll from Gary, Indiana. In between making music and deployments Teddy-P came across a new soldier now known as Mark-G from Joliet, Illinois later moved to Houston, Texas. At the time Teddy-p did not know that Mark-G could rap, until one night after listening to some instrumentals, Mark-G started free styling none stop for hours. After finally calming him down,Teddy-P decided that with the talent within the three they should create a group now known as the three G's. the group started right to work making hits only to be halted by a deployment. After their deployment the group decided work on solo albums as well as the group albums.Teddy-P then put his album on hold so he could work on the Production of Mark-G's Album properly named "Tha Mark G Story" Teddy-P was then introduced to Rezzy-Rezz CEO Cut Records and DP By Bank-Roll, who was at the time Producing songs for them. Around the same time Teddy-P he ran into two more Vital Additions to the group Go Go And Taye better Known As Drama City both From D.C. They were both Skilled in Beat Production And Rappin. Soon After Teddy-P and Bank-Roll Decided To Create 3G's Productions along with the 3G's Family.The 3G's are Currently in and out of deployments but are continuing to make music.
