It's more of a project than a band. I write and record whatever parts i can think of and anytime a friend is passing through, we'll add some things. It's all recorded in my home studio (except when i'm in monticello working on someone else's record at route 1 recording , i'll get chris hudson to engineer while i play drums.

meal stopover at mr. and mrs. higg's abode a definite high. they came out to part of the show in jackson and mrs. higg looked at us and then turned to higg and said, 'oh, i'm going to need to cook some more food..'. chicken casserole, butterbeans, pineapple marshmello surprise, blueberry yum-yum and chow-chow. sweet tea. mainly, it was just great to be back in mississippi. and ten pound worth of mud bug. washed down with a bunch of traumatized bottles of beer. mark took care of an impressive part of it. the crawdad, that is. i found a leftover tater the next morning and it was still delicious. missed out on the boiled peanut experience, though. i know where i can get green peanuts here however, and thinkin about soliciting my mississippi friends for recipes and doin it my own self. hopefully we'll get another trip that way cooked up soon and be able to have a bit of time to stop off and see you and the fambly next time. eli and i still listening to 'swone' and the rest.
Putting together my new studio right now and listening to your album. Love it so much. Mighty perfect for a lonesome worknight the night before St. Valentine's Day (night). Think I will play it then too. Coming home to MS in a few weeks. Yay! Home!
