Rhythm guitar, singer, songwriter. I was born in Baltimore, MD, raised in West Chester, PA and North Jersey. I was in the band Mellow Commotion for about 7 years. Since then I've been playing as a solo artist. Ted Hammock band is my four piece band that's used for bigger shows. I also play solo acoustic and as a duo with Matt Fisher the majority of the time. I've been so influenced by G. Love, Dispatch, Sublime and Jack Johnson. I love more chill stripped down acoustic music. So this space is about my pursuit of my songs and their growth. I love the gauntlet of human emotion and the feelings that people experience. I've delved into that in my music and tried to express what I've gone through and I think so many have gone through in one way or another. I go wherever the gigs take me depending upon the seasons. I love to play music and thats why I'm constantly giggin. 2 years ago I released an EP entitled "When I See You Smile." My long awaited full length album "Making My Way" is out and I will be constantly touring in support of it. Anything you can do to spread the vibe would be awesome and much appreciated. I'm about good times and good tunes and so far so good. See ya in your city!

"Mark my words, this may very well be the summer of Hammock, TED HAMMOCK, that is. With a new album slated for a November release, and a packed schedule (including summer residencies at The Gateway, Nardi's and The Terrace Tavern), this groove-rock singer/songwriter and purveyor of chill is primed to make waves." ---- Joe Master, The Islander - April 13,2007
